Marion Silman has recently retired from a 40 year career in Nursing and Midwifery and has now turned to her quilting hobby and second love and formed a small cottage industry at her home in Israel.
Inspired by her grandmother, Marion has been sewing since age 11, and discovered quilting 7 years ago. She has perfected her quilting art and uses both machine and hand quilting techniques. All her quilts are lovingly made, using the finest cotton materials and are machine washable.
Her current repertoire includes baby quilts, wall-hangings, ladies evening/shul bags, tallit bags ,tote bags, table runners, challa covers and Shabbat platter covers.
Marion has plans to make furnishings for synagogues, such as Holy Ark curtains and pulpit covers
All of Marion's quilts can be individualized and custom made – you name it and Marion will make it. No project is too small for her. She will be glad to give you a quote for any item.
